25 Steps to a new HIT blog (and you’ll make money too…)
I think everyone would love to just sit back and wait for checks to start coming in, I mean who wouldn’t right? One of the new ways you can start making money is to blog. Blogging is not an easy way to make money though, so don’t go to GoDaddy, buy a domain and hosting account, and quit your day job expecting yourself to start raking it in.
Blogging for profit requires a lot of time, dedication, patience, positioning, and <SIC> strategery. You’ll need to write good content and get people to your site (which, btw, is not an easy thing to do, especially with how saturated the Web is now a days).
Ashley Morgan on Upstartblogger.com, recently wrote a great article with step-by-step instructions on how to start your own blog and be on your way to generating income from blogging.
There are a lot of articles out there on the Web stating that you can’t make money from blogs or that you can make huge amounts of money for no work. Not true. You can make money, but you have to work. All of the sites that say you can do it for no work are scams and I will write something another time about those but I’ll leave it at that.
